The third distillation removes heavier, oilier compounds, leaving only the lightest and purest spirit. This results in a new make spirit that is wonderfully fruity and bright, which is then matured in a combination of ex-bourbon casks and virgin American oak casks, married together before bottling.
Non-chill filtered and naturally coloured, this whisky is bottled at 46%. The result is well-balanced, featuring notes of shortbread, coconut, honey, and double cream, with a warming woody spice.
